Architectural Metal Polishing is the leading metal polishing company for architects and designers across the United States. Our History

With over 40 years of experience in the non-ferrous metal industry, AMP founder Richard Kolodin brings a wealth of knowledge for our customers to draw on. Richard began working for his grandfather’s metal company right out of college, working his way from the bottom of the company up. He gained experience in all facets of the metal industry, from finishing and polishing to shipping and distribution.

Following this, Richard spent time in sales, traveling the United States and visiting many manufacturers along the way. He worked extensively with brass mills throughout the world and other manufacturers, gaining further experience and knowledge within the industry.

Years later, in 2013, Richard and Valerie Kolodin founded Architectural Metal Polishing. The company started out in a public warehouse, but ultimately they decided AMP would need to control its own destiny—at their very own facility, with their very own machinery. This has enabled AMP to provide both industry-leading metal finishing services.

Our Facility

The Architectural Metal Polishing facility boasts more than 50,000 square feet of warehouse space to accommodate any size order you may require. With our available space and equipment, we’re able to complete all metal finishing under one roof—saving customers the hassle of going to two, three, or even more companies to complete a single project.

Our facility is spotless to ensure all of your finished products are free of compounds or debris that can cause problems in future metal fabrication. Want proof? We frequently work directly with architects and designers for major projects, inviting them into our shop to walk them through exactly how their project will be completed.
